About SarigermeThe history and the name given to Sarigerme is very interesting. In the old period the transportation of the big threes was made with river. The place called Sarısu used to be a small lake where they have used special net to collect threes coming from river side. The net and the name of the river makes the place in Turkish language Sarıgerme.The natural position of the Sarıgerme with its lovely beaches, forest and historical position makes this place very special for the visitors. The island named Babaada situated obout one miles from the sea side makes this place a natural harbour. This advantage with sandy sea side and not deep water helps the children to learn swimming without any danger. Wonderfull water circulation and smooth wind gives all kind of oppurtunuties for the people who likes surfing in the very clean waters. The large seaside is really made for the sporting activities such as tracking, running etc. The village situated about 2 km to the beach side of Osmaniye is the place where all the tourist find themselves at the evening for shopping and visiting. The transportation made with municipality to reach the village is rather interesting. Open air Pacha disco is the place you can dance starting from midnight. The region full of citrus trees will give you all kind of fruits and specially in the may april Period you can smell all kind of nice odors comming from those trees.You can also find all kind of fresh fish in this region.Also natural caviar and flower honey are some of the regional food you can find.
The most important place to see is Aşı Koyu. This lovely bay with its nice and natural surroundings one of the important area where the boats came and spend the day.
